Shipping Policy

Shipping Method

Internet Orders will be shipped via UPS Ground or USPS Priority, unless otherwise specified. Shipping charges will be available in the shopping cart and at checkout. Larger instruments may ship via truck freight. Most in-stock items will be shipped within 1 business day of being placed. Some items may ship directly from the manufacturer, please contact us for details. UPS Express Shipping options are also available via phone orders at (626) 386-5882.

Alaska and Hawaii

Residents of Alaska and Hawaii please take note that our online UPS shipping calculator is accurate for our full line of basic product offerings. Larger products such as drumsets, mallet instruments, hardware, etc. may incur additional charges that cannot be calculated via the online system. However, we will contact you for any order that will incur additional fees to receive your approval prior to shipping.

Freight shipping is billed at exact amount as charged by carrier. Call (626) 386-5882 for information. There are extra shipping charges for orders shipping outside of the contiguous U.S. and to APO/FPO boxes.

International Shipping

Our website does not currently accept orders shipping outside of the USA, but we can ship some items internationally. Some manufacturers restrict the sale of their items outside of the USA, so they cannot be shipped outside of the country. For international order inquiries, please use our contact me form, or email us at orders@cadrums.coms.

California Drums is not responsible for any Duty, VAT or additional taxes that may be charged after the sale. These additional charges may be charged when you pick up the item at customs or during delivery. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to check local regulations when buying exported goods. These fees are not included in any product or shipping charges.

Incorrect Shipping Address

If a package is undeliverable or if an address correction is needed due to a customer error, the customer will be responsible for all incurred fees. Please be sure to provide an accurate ship to address when placing your order.

Return Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase please contact us with any issue or concern. We will accept returns on items for up to 30 days after the invoice date for exchange, store credit or full refund (excluding shipping charges) provided that the product is in new condition with all original packaging. Items returned after 30 days may be subject to a 20% restocking fee and can be returned for store credit only. Items cannot be returned after 45 days.

Please contact us for a return authorization number and make sure it is clearly marked on the outside of the package as well as including a copy of your invoice or receipt, along with reason for return. Packages received without a proper authorization return number will be subject to additional fees. IMPORTANT: Sheet Music, Method Books, Videos, Recordings, Whistles, Bird Calls, Used/Demo Products, AS-IS Product and Special Order items are NOT RETURNABLE for any reason.

To ensure that your return is handled properly, you must receive a return authorization number prior to returning products. Contact us at (626) 386-5882, or use our contact me form to obtain a return authorization number. Please return the item via an insured carrier (UPS or Postal Service) to:

Changing or Canceling Orders

If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us immediately at (626) 386-5882 with your request. 

Missing Items

Please inspect your order carefully and completely upon receipt. Customers have 7 days from the day you accept delivery to report any discrepancy between what was ordered and what was shipped or any damages to items in your order. If you are missing an item from your order, or if you were shipped an incorrect item, we will do our best to fix the problem as quickly as possible. Please immediately call (626) 386-5882 or email us at orders@cadrums.com and we will arrange for its return and/or replacement with the correct item ordered.

Without doing this, your order cannot be shipped and/or billed. You may receive an email or a phone call if there is any trouble processing your order. We use various shipping companies to deliver your order, and a credit card processing company to bill you for the products you purchase. These companies do not retain, share, store nor use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes. We do not share or sell customer information to any third party that is not involved with shipping or billing for your order.
