Tapspace Blade by Benjamin Finley

Blade by Benjamin Finley is a multi-percussion solo that requires a mind-boggling level of independence between each hand. Written for two Toms, a snare drum, kick drum, and any three resonant metal instruments (performer's choice), this solo features a series of hemiola-driven rhythmic figures that paint a great portrait of percussive sounds with an underwritten melodic line that moves seamlessly from one voice to another.

Great for advanced players, Blade is a perfect solo for an upcoming recital and will require the highest level of coordination and sensitivity.
