Treehouses by Clif Walker is a large percussion ensemble/percussion orchestra piece for 20 players, inspired by a backyard treehouse project he was undertaking while writing the piece. It is designed to capture the levity and imagination of a treehouse, and a child's creativity!
This piece uses a wide array of sounds and effects, as well as typical percussion orchestra instrumentation, to create a natural, sonorous atmosphere that will engulf a concert hall. This piece is an excellent option for a concert-closing piece.
