Meinl Nino Nino Make Your Own Cajon Kit

The Meinl Nino Make Your Own Cajon Kit is something special - it's a craft project, it's an art project, and it's a musical instrument after it's all done! It's a perfect cross-discipline classroom activity, and it's totally usable in the music classroom. Kids will be very excited to play something they made themselves.

This kit includes all the parts of the cajon, and with a few basic tools you can have a cajon ready to go in just a day or two. The resonating body is made of birch, a very popular drum-making wood, to make it sound just like a cajon the adults would play.

Once the cajon has been put together, kids can totally customize their own with the stencils included in the box, or by simply painting it freehand!
