Grover Pro Professional Musical Anvil (Medium-High and Low Pitches)

The Grover Pro PMA-B Professional Musical Anvil creates three different strong, clear, musically metallic sounds that can cut through anything - and it's far easier to deal with than a real blacksmith's anvil.

One side of the anvil produces a high pitch, the other side produces a lower pitch, and when struck in the middle (on the logo) you get a third harmonically-rich tone! Three options in one instrument is very welcome to the percussionist needing options.

The wide, 4" playing surfaces make rhythmically intense passages easy to play, and the instrument rests on a hardwood stand that allows it to vibrate freely for maximum resonance. Grover has designed a Dual-Tone Anvil Hammer specifically for the instrument, but hard bell mallets work too.

The PMA-B anvil's pitches interlock with the pitches of the PMA-A model, and are often better-sounding and easier to use than brake drums. They fit perfectly into any large ensemble or multi-percussion setup.
