Meinl Turbo Cabasas are louder than traditional models because of the five sound ports at the top of the resonating chamber, so you don't have to work as hard to cut through a loud band.

Strings of steel beads are loosely wrapped around a textured metal-coated cylinder, and when you shift them around with your hand they create a loud "shhhhht" noise that is often found in Latin music.

This large model is the loudest available.
