Boss Loop Station

The Boss RC-202 Loop Station is a sweet piece of gear for club performers, electronic musicians, and beatboxers, fitting powerful looping and multi-effects into a unit that sits comfortably on a small table.

Two stereo loops can be controlled with your fingertips while animated status indicators let you know what's going on at a glance. You'll be able to store and recall up to 64 phase memories organized into eight banks, making live performance far easier.

You can save your loops to the current phase memory without stopping playback, letting you save or switch memories mid-performance to create new song structures and evolving arrangements.

Four Input FX and four Track FX are available simultaneously, allowing you to instantly modify your loops and playback. They're easily adjusted with large knobs and can be turned on/off instantly with dedicated panel buttons.

There's plenty of connectivity with this device - a jack for connecting up to two footswitches or an expression pedal, MIDI inputs for a keyboard, and the ability to synch with an RC-505, another RC-202 looper, or other drum machines and devices.

For the output of sound, the RC-202 is equipped with an XLR mic input, mono/stereo instrument inputs, and a stereo aux input that can all be used at the same time. You can send a click to headphones only for monitoring purposes.

Plug the looper into your computer via USB to archive WAV loops or load up RC-202 phrases with live backing tracks/sounds for sampler-style triggers. The looper can also be used as a USB audio/MIDI interface to integrate with music software.
