The Innovative Percussion Christopher Lamb #3 Laminated Beech sticks are made of several layers of sturdy beech, giving them a very consistent weight and pitch throughout the entirety of the stick. These sticks have a very short beads, designed for when you need to play as articulately as possible with minimal effort.
These sticks are shorter than the standard pair, putting more of the weight into the player's hands.
Just to clarify any confusion - these sticks are not laminated as in 'covered in something'. Laminate refers to the technique of using layers of material to construct an object.
