Promark Stephen Creighton Signature ActiveGrip Pipe Band Drumsticks
The Stephen Creighton Signature Pipe Band Drumsticks are Promark's first sticks designed for pipe band. Developed in conjunction with world renowned drum sergeant Stephen Creighton of the St. Laurence O'Toole Pipe Band, this drumstick has the thick shaft you'd expect from a pipe band stick, but maintains a lighter feel appropriate for the drumming style due to its maple construction.
These sticks offer the responsive rebound and direct feel that is required to perform on high-tension pipe snare drums, designed to be perfectly consistent from stick to stick and weighted in a way that will facilitate clean and clear sounds from the drum.These sticks have an ActiveGrip finish and are made out of lightweight, responsive maple. ActiveGrip won't add any thickness to the stick, as it is applied like an ordinary lacquer, and it won't wear down over time. It is designed to increase its tackiness went exposed to heat or sweat, making it perfect for a gigging drummer looking for some peace of mind at warmer venues.
