Mike Balter Emil Richards 'Sounds of the Studio' Series Super Rub Mallets create lots of friction when rubbed across drum heads and gongs, creating those weird 'moans' and ethereal sounds that sometimes come up in the music.
You get three mallets with this pack in graduating sizes: 3/4", 7/8", and 15/16". The smaller the mallet, the easier it is to pull out high overtones. Larger mallets have an easier time making the effect louder.
