Meinl's Boom Series Synthetic Pop Off Heads are pre-tuned heads that can be removed and used as frame drums! They're sturdy and durable, too, which makes these a great choice in the classroom. They're made for Meinl's VivaRhythm drums, but because they can be used as a frame drum, they're useful even without them!

Boom Series heads have a bright, articulate tone with lots of projection, and are white, while Soft Sound Series heads have a more muted, gentle tone and a warmer sound, and come in black.
