Evans 14" Standard Pipe Band Snare Top Head

This snare head is designed to be used with Pearl and Andante pipe band snare drums. Designed in collaboration with Stephen Creighton and his championship winning corps, the St. Laurence O-Toole Pipe Band, this head offers both a bright and articulate sound for solo performances as well as a heavier head for more projection outdoors.

A thin laminate on the underside of the head increases the upper snare's sensitivity. The head is also made of a tightly woven fabric for strength and durability. Unlike many marching drumheads, this pipe band model does not require a long "break-in" period. Which means the head's pitch will settle almost instantly making this a must have for your pipe band snare.
