Evans Hybrid Marching Snare Side Heads feature a unique design: high tensile Aramid fibers in an open weave pattern are embedded between two extremely thin layers of clear film. This combination creates the sensitivity of polyester, but the stretch resistance of Aramid fiber.
You can crank the tension on this head extremely high without fear of pre-stretching. The head also includes an overtone control ring to help get rid of some unwanted overtones.
