The Adams MSPVJ30 Soloist-Series Marimba offers the same great construction and features found on all of Adams high end instruments at an affordable price for beginning students and schools!
The MSPVJ30 features high-quality African padauk bars that offer an excellent alternative to rosewood - producing warm, woody sounds that are similar, but at a fraction of the cost. Unlike other student-model marimbas, all of the bars within the Soloist Series are graduated in width.
The Adams MSPVJ30 marimba is slightly narrower than the Concert Series bars, specifically designed to allow easier mallet spreads for beginning players.
