Adams 1.5 Octave Standard 1.25" Chimes

Adams 1.5 Octave Standard Chimes recreate the sound of church bells with long sustain. Chrome plating on each 1.25"-wide note gives the instrument a silvery, refined aesthetic. As far as chimes go, these are fairly lightweight and easy to handle - great for middle schools and gigging freelancers.

Ranging from C5 to G6, these chimes sit in an elegantly sturdy frame, letting you instantly dampen or let ring the tubes via the foot pedal. A dampener lock pin allows you to keep the notes ringing without needing to hold your foot on the pedal.

Locking casters prevent the instrument from moving when using the pedal. A full-length cover and one chime hammer is included.

The 1.5 range covers almost all written music for the instrument. Rarely orchestral and wind band literature will call for notes below the low C5 or slightly above the high F5.
